In recent years, the world has witnessed a remarkable rise in the popularity and acceptance of cryptocurrencies as an alternative form of currency. Trinidad and Tobago, a beautiful twin-island nation in the Caribbean, has not remained untouched by this global financial revolution. Converting TTD to Crypto Currency

Binance is both a wallet and exchange that allows you to store and convert hundred of cryptocurrency for low fees in seconds.

Once you have a wallet or international crypto exchange setup you can now convert your TTD to crypto currency. In Trinidad and Tobago there are two main ways to get Crypto Currency.

Or

You can find a reputable person/ group that buys and/or sells crypto currencies.

We recommend that you purchase a stablecoin (a type of crypto currency that is the same value as the USD). This is because almost everyone sells stablecoins rather than other crypto currencies.

Once you have found a buyer and have agreed to their terms, or set forth your own, you can then give them your wallet address so you can receive the stablecoin. Once you have the stablecoin you can convert the stablecoin to any other crypto currency on Binance.

Converting Crypto Currency to TTD

Once again, due to banking restriction in Trinidad and Tobago you will have difficulty, or find it impossible to receive TTD in exchange from a International Exchange. This means you have to use a local exchange like Sunshine Exchange or sell to persons in Trinidad or Tobago directly. 

When selling directly you will need to discuss terms with the buyer and either accept theirs or negotiate with them to accept yours. 

Once the terms are agreed upon you will need the person's wallet address for you to send the crypto to and they will need your bank account for you to receive the cash. Alternatively you can meet in person at a safe location like a police station to receive the cash then for you to send the crypto.

USDT, short for United States Dollar Tether, is the most popular stablecoins. 

Unlike traditional cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, which can experience extreme price volatility, stablecoins are designed to maintain a stable value.
